Hall Of Fame OVR: 44 Posts: 28,694 | These are a really great base, I like the feel of them a ton. Unfortunately I can't finish a full 40 minute game because I've got to get ready for bed (aka procrastinate on OS for another half hour) but I played UConn/Wisconsin at Maui (no Paradise Jam Classic in the game, hehe) and I started off on fire, I was up 31-10 eight minutes in. I had the tempo on full blast and figured I was gonna easily hit triple figures and blow them out of the water. Slowly but surely Wisconsin took a stand, stuck by their slow-pace tempo and held me to just 14 points over the final 12 minutes of the half and was down 42-32 at the break. The tempo feature is so well implemented in this game, it's not overkill like many thought it would be. Anyway, quit the game up 64-50 with nine minutes left. It would have been a little more high scoring than tonight's game IRL (76-57) but not terrible. Some team stats (UConn listed first) Rebounds: 19/22 Assists: 12/9 Steals: 7/2 Blocks: 5/1 (yippe! Although most were on short jumpers, still not seeing any layups/dunks blocked. If they do try it's a foul every time. Probably just a limitation in the game that we're stuck with). Turnovers: 4/12 FT: 7/9 FT%: 78/90 (I had already bumped this becaus I knew it would be too easy at 65) OReb: 4/1 (booo) DReb: 15/21 Hash beasted for me, 18 points, 8 boards and 2 blks in 30 minutes. Some areas to improve in.. - More FT's - Increase FT difficulty - More blocks at rim (if possible) - Less dunks, esp from small guards - More offensive fouls (didn't see one) - I only made 1/10 shots from outside the paint, some were forced, some were open. I really like these though, even the first version is an improvement over what I had been tinkering with. I can't believe how much I like this game and how much better/more realistic the gameplay is than 2K8.
