While Encore isnt quite as good as Reflex (which is the gold standard of dirtbike games by the way), this version of Supercross is well deserving of the 4 star rating I gave it.
Scrubbing and whipping were awesome and the physics were basically perfect in Reflex and yet, for some reason they changed the physics and ended up making abolutely terrible games like Untamed and the 360 version of Supercross. Well, Encore is a step in the right direction.First, get rid of the stupid pre-loading!
It has always been a bad idea and it still is. Second, the suspension needs to actually absorb bumps.
MX vs ATV All Out is the complete off-road racing and lifestyle experience! ATV Supercross is a racing video game developed by Rainbow Studios and published by Nordic Games for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This is the fifth game of the MX vs. ATV franchise and it is the first game developed after the original creator of the franchise, Rainbow Studios, separated from their most recent publisher THQ due to bankruptcy.
These games always make the bikes feel like they are pogo sticks and it is impossible to get any flow. Third, stop whatever you guys are doing with whips and scrubbing and go back to how it was on Reflex. Lastly, make a legit career mode and way more free ride areas! Ive been riding over 20 years so if you want to hire me to consult on the next game, just get my email from microsoft:-). The free ride tracks are small, with not much going on. No matter what terrain you drive on the bike handles the same. There are no brand name motorcycles unless you spend real money on dlc.Custimaztion is lacking.
There are frame stutters and other graphics bugs. The bike physics are buggy and sometimes you get spun around all crazy. This is a $15 game at best. I bought it because nostalgia and have been wanting a new AtV Offroad Fury,or the old school MX vsATV.This is not the game i was hoping for. Ever since MX vs. ATV Unleashed, there hasn't been one game that has gotten the physics right. It's like they are more concerned with finessing the controls rather than making a great bar banging racing game. I've worn out controllers playing Mx vs. ATV Unleashed. But I guess those days are over. As for commenting on what's wrong with the game.why bother?
The developers don't listen anyway. So.if you are looking for a good racing game.look elsewhere.cause this ain't it. Submitted on 2/22/2017 Review title of wiley83great game realistic controlsfirst off the people that hate on this games controls from other reviews either didnt take the time to properly learn them or just dont know how to ride a mx bike at first i struggled my self but once i figured out u have to operate the bike more like u would in real life then typical racing games that u unrealistically just full throttle from start to finish brake clutch leaning as you would on your real bike and you will catch on to the controls easy.
