It was later ported to the Super Famicom under the title Ghost Chaser Densei. The Super Famicom release is Japan-only. A sequel, Guardians, was released in 1995. The world of Denjin Makai is a futuristic city with some vague cyberpunk influences, a setting not unfamiliar to the genre.
